Who we are

Prof. Rachel Green (Principal Investigator)
+972 54 6338895
+972 2 6585391
Since her postdoc with Prof. Elaine Tobin at UCLA, Rachel's research has focused on plant circadian rhythms, their molecular mechanisms, and their role in environmental adaptation.

Dr. Purity Mumbi Muchoki (Postdoc)
puritymumbi.muchoki@mail.huji.ac.il
Purity is studying the regulation and significance of protein–protein interactions within the circadian oscillator, including the identification of novel interacting proteins and the dynamics of these interactions.

Felista Nalufunjo (PhD student)
felista.nalufunjo@mail.huji.ac.il
Felly studies post-transcriptional regulation of the circadian oscillator, together with the mechanisms that generate and regulate root-specific circadian rhythms.

Itay Zaken (PhD student/Lab manager)
Itay's research focuses on circadian rhythms and their role in environmental adaptation in Arabidopsis and sorghum. In parallel, Itay is working with Prof. Nir Keren's group studying photosynthesis in sorghum

Dr. Judy Lieman-Hurwitz (Research Associate)
Judy is working on a project to characterize novel post-transcriptional regulators of the circadian clock.

Dr. Miriam Hassidim (Research Associate)
Miri’s research focuses on cell-specific circadian and photoperiodic responses, with a particular interest in the circadian clock of stomatal guard cells.
